With electricity prices increasing, we need to reduce heating and air conditioning consumption. Motorisation increases the usability of the shutters to make sure that energy consumption is minimised. The European Solar-Shading Organisation (Brussels) recent study claims that a rolling shutter reduces the indoor-outdoor heat exchange in both directions by 25%.
